FAQs

  1. Does the process of body sugaring lead to permanent hair removal?

While there are benefits of improved skin texture and less vigorous re-growth of unwanted hair after sugaring, it is impossible to determine if it will lead to permanency. Body sugaring does offer distinctive advantages over other methods of depilation.

  2. Can I get a bikini or Brazilian if pregnant?

Generally yes, but I do require a release from your OB/GYN to make sure there are no concerns.

  3. Does the price of a Brazilian decrease if you keep coming?

Yes. If you maintain a regular schedule and don't shave between appointments, price will typically decrease. Please note that price can vary depending on how much sugar we have to use.

  4. What do I need to do before my sugaring appointment?

It’s really about what NOT to do. Please do not: use a razor or other depilatory creams between appointments; apply lotions or oils to the area to be treated on the day of your appointment; tan, bathe in a tub or hot tub, use any type of heavy lotions or creams, expose the skin to sun or engage in sexual activity for 24 hours after your sugaring treatment.

  5. How long will my appointment take?

It varies depending on the service, but in general: about 15 minutes for a Brazilian, up to 1 hour for full legs, and 45 minutes to 1 hour for half legs. Most other areas take less than five minutes.

  6. What if I’m late for my appointment?

Our schedule is always full, and it is important to us to respect our clients’ time. To ensure that everyone gets the time and attention they deserve during their appointment, we will automatically cancel any sessions after 15 minutes and will charge cancellation fees on a case-by- case basis.
